One great thing about the connectivity of webcomics is that the artists often collaborate on projects and have guest strips and crossover events which lead new readers to appreciate new works.
One such collaboration, which hasn’t been updated recently, is the “Portrait-Dex” of webcomic artists, where they drew their online persona as if they were a Pokemon with three evolutionary states.
It’s a cute riff on how the artists view themselves, and how they present themselves to the public, and it’s as amusing for the attempts to follow Pokemon’s naming convention as for the sketches and abilities.
There are only 23 up at the time of writing, and the last update was about a month ago, but the whole thing is super effective. 😉
